Very simple soup. Requires overnight soaking of beans.

Recipe Ingredients for Kidney bean soup

1 cup dry kidney beans
4 cups water
4 cups water
1 dash of black pepper
1 dash of Sea Salt
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp red pepper
2 1/2 ounce zucchini (boiled)
2 cups water
1 1/2 ounces (Land O' Lakes) shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Kidney bean soup

  1. Rinse and soak 1 cup of dry kidney beans overnight in 4 cups of cold water.

  2. After overnight soak, rinse and place kidney beans in 4 cups of warm water. Add pepper and sea salt as desired. Simmer for 90 minutes.

  3. After kidney beans have simmered for 90 minutes, add 2 cups of water, salt, other seasonings, shredded cheese, and zucchini. Continue to warm on very low setting for 10 minutes. Serve.
