Recipe Ingredients for Kicking Cabbage Soup

1 tbsp olive oil
2 medium onions
1 head cabbage, medium
1 1/4 quart fat free chicken broth
3 small potatoes
3 medium carrots
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
1/4 tsp sage
1/2 teaspoon thyme

Recipe Directions for Kicking Cabbage Soup

  1. heat oil and cook onions until softened (10 min). add cabbage and cook 15min.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 50 minutes.

  3. chill for 8 hours, skim off fat and remove ham hock.
