Spiced with southwestern chipoltle seasoning and chili powder, has a nice heat. Light soup good as an appetizer.

Recipe Ingredients for Kickin Pork Soup

8 cups water
1 teaspoon southwest chipoltle seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 tablespoon garlic, chopped
1/2 medium onion, chopped
3 center cut pork chops
196 grams Kettle Creations Pasta and Bean (1 cup)

Recipe Directions for Kickin Pork Soup

  1. Trim all fat from chops. Season with a sprinkle of southwest chipoltle seasoning and brown in hot pan. Chop into bite size pieces when cool.

  2. Add water, seasonings, onion and chopped meat to large pot. Bring to boil then reduce heat and let simmer 30-40 minutes.

  3. Add Pasta and Bean mix to soup. Simmer 1/2 hour until pasta and beans are tender.

  4. I use Bob's Red Mill Vegi Soup mix which does not have the high sodium content the Kettle Creations does.
