16 oz Chicken Breast Fillets Boneless Skinless
4 ounces Pure Vegetable Oil
1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 cup Bread Crumbs, Dry, Grated, Plain
2 tablespoons Pepper, Black
4 tablespoons Paprika
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Mustard Seed, Yellow
1 tablespoon Thyme, Dried
1 tablespoon Basil, Fresh
1 teaspoon Oregano, Ground
1 tablespoon Ginger, Ground

Recipe Directions for KFC-seasoned, fried chicken strips

  1. Heat oil to medium heat.

  2. Mix all spices and flour together.

  3. Cut chicken breast into 3/4" strips.

  4. Dip pieces of chicken in beaten raw egg or egg whites until lightly coated.

  5. Roll in spices.

  6. Fry 5-7 minutes on each side or until no longer pink inside.
