Made with 3 regular limes (not real key lime, I know), 2 zested

Recipe Ingredients for Key Lime Pie

18 graham crackers
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon lime zest
1/2 cup lime juice
2 egg yolks
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

Recipe Directions for Key Lime Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Crush graham crackers and pour into bowl.

  3. Stir in sugar and melted butter

  4. Press into pie pan and bake for 5 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and set aside to cool slightly.

  6. Mix lime zest, lime juice and egg yolks in a mixing bowl.

  7. Add in condensed milk and mix on high until smooth and thick.

  8. Pour mix into crust and bake for 15 minutes.

  9. Remove from oven, allow to cool.

  10. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour - more if possible.
