Recipe Ingredients for Keri's Toscana Soup

3 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 medium russet potato
2 cups chopped kale
1/2 pound ground sausage
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Keri's Toscana Soup

  1. Combine the stock and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Start cooking and the sausage.

  3. Slice the unpeeled potato into 1/4-inch slices, then quarter the slices and add them to the soup.

  4. Add the kale, crumbled sausage and spices. Simmer for 2 hours stirring occasionally.
