Recipe Ingredients for Keri's Baking Powder Biscuits

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup milk

Recipe Directions for Keri's Baking Powder Biscuits

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees.

  2. Measure in dry ingredients. Cut in butter thoroughly until mixture looks like meal.

  3. Stir in almost all of the milk. If dough is not pliable then add just enough to make a soft, puffy, easy to roll dough.

  4. Round up dough in lightly floured surface and knead 20-25 times. Roll out 1/2 inch thich and cut with floured biscuit cutter (or large glass).

  5. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
