Makes 4 servings



Use old fashioned oats, I can't believe it's not butter original (or light), splenda sugar blend for baking, and grind the flax seed in a coffee grinder and add that last, just before serving.

Recipe Ingredients for Kelley's Oatmeal

4 cups water
2 cups oats
2 tbs margarine
2 tbs splenda blend
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs flax seed
1/2 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Kelley's Oatmeal

  1. Get the water boiling.

  2. Add the oats and lower the heat to medium or medium low (for a nice simmer).

  3. Cook 5 minutes, then remove from the heat.

  4. Add the sugar, butter, cinnamon, and raisins.

  5. Let stand for a few minutes so everything can melt and mingle.

  6. Add the flax seed, stir, and serve. Yum!
