A tasty Indian dish with ground beef and peas

Recipe Ingredients for keema mattar

24 oz Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
2 1/2 cup Peas, Green
4 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
2 large Onions
8 clove Garlic
2 tsp Ginger Root
8 tbsp Green Chiles
1 tsp Chili Powder
1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
10 g Garam Masala Powder
15 grams Coriander Powder

Recipe Directions for keema mattar

  1. Cook ground beef in a pan. Cook until mostly done, drain off the grease.

  2. Heat oil in large pan

  3. Mince onions in a food processor, add to hot oil and saute for 5-10 minutes (until cooked down/translucent)

  4. Mince garlic and add, stir fry for one minute.

  5. Add beef, green chiles, coriander powder, cumin powder, chili powder, and ginger. Mix well. Add 3/4 cup water, bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until water has cooked down.

  6. Add peas, corriander leaves, garam masala, lemon juice, and half cup water. Mix well. Allow ten minutes to simmer until peas are cooked and sauce has thickened.

  7. Serve over rice or with flat bread.
