Yummy Chicken and veggies in a tomato sauce-- and it's very easy! (I think the sodium count on the nutrition facts is wrong, the sauce would only make it 1,000 mg of sodium, not 10,000)

Recipe Ingredients for Kat's Slow Chicken

18 ounce fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts
26 ounces spaghetti sauce
1 medium onion, sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, strips
4 carrots, sliced
1 stalk celery, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Kat's Slow Chicken

  1. combine all ingredients, except water and cornstarch in slow cooker.

  2. Cover; cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.

  3. Before serving, combine 2 tablespoons water and 1 tablespoon cornstarch in small bowl. Stir until mixture is smooth. Add to slow cooker

  4. Cook on HIGH an additional 15 minutes or until mixture thickens.

  5. Serve chicken and vegetables over mashed potatoes or cooked noodles, if desired.
