Easy salmon burgers - serve over shredded cabbage with a drizzle of horseradish sauce to really make them spectacular!

Recipe Ingredients for Katie's Salmon Burgers

4 oz Salmon, Sockeye
1 slice Bread
1 large Egg, Whole
6 oz Celery
2 oz Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 serving Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Katie's Salmon Burgers

  1. Coarsely chop celery and onions and add to food processor.

  2. Cut one piece of wheat bread into cubes and add to food processor.

  3. Pulse until a uniform texture.

  4. Add one egg to mixture and pulse until well blended.

  5. Remove skin from salmon (if present) and cut into cubes.

  6. Add salmon to food processor and pulse a couple times to blend the mixture (no need to make it super smooth).

  7. Divide into three even parts and shape into patties.

  8. Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil over medium heat in a non-stick pan.

  9. Add burgers and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through.
