Roll recipe from Kathy Fordyce, passed down from Liz Fordyce. Yummy, I have modified recipe for it's dairy and soy free.

Recipe Ingredients for Kathy's Yeast Rolls

10 oz. almond milk or water or milk
1 egg
1 1/2 cups white bread flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup canola oil
2 tsp. yeast

Recipe Directions for Kathy's Yeast Rolls

  1. Warm the liquid slightly, not cold

  2. Add yeast to warm liquid and mix well with rest of ingredients. Adding more flour to get the correct consistency of the dough. Let rise in greased bowl-double in size. Shape dough into rolls. Place in greased pan or cookie sheet and let the rolls rise. Cover them with greased paper and towel in draft free place. Dough will be sticky so be sure to grease whatever you put directly over the dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
