Recipe Ingredients for Kate's Favorite Chicken Soup

4 oz Fresh Chicken Leg Quarters
2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
2 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
0.25 cup Dried Yellow Corn
10 oz Spinach
1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
1 large Onions
1 large Turnips
64 oz Light
1.5 tbsp Dill Seed
1 tbsp Parsley, Dried
1 tbsp Vinegar, Cider
1 tbsp, crumbled Bay Leaf

Recipe Directions for Kate's Favorite Chicken Soup

  1. Chop celery, carrots, onion, and potato.

  2. Throw all ingredients in pot and bring to boil. Lower heat to a slow boil or simmer for one hour. Remove the turnip and mash it. Remove chicken and tear into smaller pieces. Soup is done. Add pepper and salt or salt substitute to liking.
