Recipe Ingredients for Kashmiri Aloo Dum

454 grams Potatoes, White, Flesh And Skin
16 tbsp chopped Onions
3 tsp Garlic Paste
1.5 tsp Ginger Paste
0.5 cup, chopped or sliced Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
5 grams Chilly Powder Kashmiri
5 g Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Salt, Table
4 serving Amul Fresh Cream
50 grams Cashew Nuts

Recipe Directions for Kashmiri Aloo Dum

  1. Peel and prick potatoes with a fork. Sprinkle with turmeric.

  2. Deep fry in oil over medium heat until potatoes are golden brown in color. Keep aside.

  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and cook until light brown.

  5. Add ginger paste and garlic paste. Cook few more seconds.

  7. Add all spce and tomatoes. Cook for few more minutes.

  9. Add cream and cup of water (if needed). Simmer the sauce

  11. Add fried potatoes and simmer few more minutes.

  13. Serve hot with Basmati rice or any Indian flatbreads.
