This recipe, found on the side of the box, uses Kashi 7 Whole Grain Flakes.

Recipe Ingredients for Kashi Cookies

1/2 cup Earth Balance
3/4 cup sugar (I use evaporated cane juice)
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
2 tbsp skim milk - or - Light Soy Milk
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
75 grams (3/4 cup) Kashi 7 Whole Grain Flakes, crushed
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Kashi Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

  2. Beat Earth Balance for 30 sec. on high.

  3. Add evaporated cane juice, cinnamon, and baking powder; beat until combined.

  4. Blend in egg, milk, and vanilla.

  5. Blend in flour and Kashi Flakes.

  6. Stir in dried fruit.

  7. Drop rounded tablespoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
