Recipe Ingredients for Kashi Apple Cinnamon Bars

1 cup Kashi Go Lean cereal
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup canola oil
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup apple
2 tbs flaxseed meal

Recipe Directions for Kashi Apple Cinnamon Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F)

  2. Finely crush the cereal and add to the next four ingredients.

  3. In separate bowl, mix together remaining ingredients except flaxseed meal.

  4. Add dry mix to wet and mix thoroughly.

  5. Oil a pan (large for thin bars, smaller for thick bars) and dust with flaxseed meal.

  6. Spread mix into pan and bake for 20-40 minutes (depending on pan size) or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
