Recipe Ingredients for Kasha with Potatoes, Onion & Herbs

1 cup Buckwheat Groats, Roasted, Cooked
0.5 dash Salt, Table
2 Glass Water
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 Potato large (3" to 4-1/4" dia) Potato, Flesh And Skin
5 sprigs Dill Weed, Fresh

Recipe Directions for Kasha with Potatoes, Onion & Herbs

  1. Lightly toast the kasha in a skillet over medium heat until fragrant. Set aside. IN a saucepan add the salt to the water and bring to a boil. Slowly stir in the toasted kasha. Cover, lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile cook the onion in the oil and water, stirring, in a large skillet over medium heat. When the onion is tender, stir in potato, dillweed and kasha, and warm through.
