Die Kartoffeln schälen und würfeln. Den Wirsing waschen und vierteln, den Strunk entfernen und den Kohl in feine Streifen schneiden. Die Zwiebeln schälen, halbieren und in Streifen schneiden. Den Ingwer schälen und fein würfeln. Alle Gewürze mit dem Salz vermischen. Den Wok erhitzen, Öl hinzufügen und darin Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln und Wirsing bei starker Hitze unter Rühren etwa 5 Minuten anbraten. Die Gewürze dazugeben und weitere 2 Minuten braten. Gemüsebrühe und Sahne zum Gemüse geben, die Hitze etwas reduzieren und alles zugedeckt etwa 15 Minuten garen lassen. Abschmecken und servieren. Peel potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces.

24 oz russet potatoes
24 oz cabbage
2 onions
1/2 oz fresh ginger
1 tablespoon Curry powder
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
2 tablespoon sesame oil
400 ml vegetable broth
125 g fat-free sour cream
1 teaspoon Salt

Recipe Directions for Kartoffel Gemuese for Wok

  1. Peel potatoes, cut into quarters.

  2. Wash cabbage, cut into quarters, remove core, cut cabbage into ribbons.

  3. Peel onions, cut into halves and slice.

  4. Peel ginger, mince.

  5. Season all of the vegetables with the salt. Heat the oil in a Wok on high heat.

  6. Add the potatoes, onion, and cabbage, and stir-fry at high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

  7. Add the seasoning, and continue for about 2 additional minutes to stir-fry.

  8. Add the vegetable broth, reduce the heat to medium low, and cover the pan.

  9. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until vegetables are done. Add the sour cream, season as needed with a little pepper. Serve.
