Recipe Ingredients for Kari-Jo's Butter Tarts

1 egg
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/16 tsp salt
1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
1 cup flour
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp vinegar
4 tbs water

Recipe Directions for Kari-Jo's Butter Tarts

  1. Blend together until creamed - butter, corn syrop, brown sugar, egg, salt and vanilla. Set aside.

  2. Pastry

  3. Blend together flour and salt.

  4. Add vinegar and toss together.

  5. Add water a bit at a time, again, tossing together.

  6. When dough just starts to hold together dump out on a floured surface.

  7. Roll to 1/8". cut 6" circles and place in muffiin tray.

  8. Fill with batter.

  9. Bake 350% 15 min. Add 7 - 10 more min for a less runny center.
