Good side dish - no salt added to this dish, but it is higher in sodium; but add condiments as preferred; be creative. Vegetable Broth can be substituted for meatless meal. You can also add or delete portions of cheeses in the ingredients to taste

Recipe Ingredients for Karen's Pasta, Peas and Carrots

3 oz Mascarpone
3 cup Broth Chicken Reduced Sodium
4 oz Ronzoni Smart Pasta
3 oz Cream Cheese Chive
1/2 cup Peas, Green
1/2 cup slices Carrots

Recipe Directions for Karen's Pasta, Peas and Carrots

  1. Cook pasta, can use any shape

  2. Heat broth

  3. Add room temp. cream cheese and stir until incorporated, do the same with the Mascarponi.

  4. Add pasta, peas and carrots

  5. Blend well, if too dry you can add a bit more broth

  6. Cover with some bread crumbs

  7. Put under broiler for 3-4 minutes until golden,
