Recipe for a very mild chili from our church. Very quick and easy to make. A family favorite.

Recipe Ingredients for Karen's Chili Soup

1 pound hamburger, browned and drained
12 ounce can tomato juice
1/4 finely diced onion
1 1/2 cup (1 can) chili beans
1 can tomato soup
1 tsp chili powder
5 ounces (1/2 can) water

Recipe Directions for Karen's Chili Soup

  1. Brown and drain hamburger. You can cook the onion with the hamburger.

  2. Add all ingredients to a pan. Cook together over medium heat until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 1/2 hour.

  3. Make sure to add salt and pepper.
