Recipe Ingredients for kande ke ladduu

1 lb onion
1/2 lb milk solids ( mava)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup coconut (dry powder)
1 tsp cardamom (green ilaichi powder)
1 tbsp cashew
1 tbsp almonds
1 tbsp pistachio (dry fruits (kaju, badaam, pista)
3 tbsp oil

Recipe Directions for kande ke ladduu

  1. Cut the onions into thin slices.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till they turn brown in colour.

  3. Take them out and spread over a paper napkin so that the extra oil is

  4. soaked.

  5. In another pan heat 1/2 cup water and add sugar to it. Make a thick syrup.

  6. Add the onions, mava, dry fruits and elaichi to it. Keep aside for about

  7. 10 minutes.

  8. When it become thick in consistency make small balls out of them. Roll

  9. them over dry coconut powder and serve.
