can be made w/ out the olive oil to lower fat and calories (use a non stick pan for this) your bread crumbs on top may not brown but less fat is better for ya then brown bread crumbs.

Recipe Ingredients for kale gratin

6 cups kale
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 pound turkey ham
1 cup 2% milk
2 cloves garlic
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for kale gratin

preheat oven to 425 blanch chopped and de stemmed Kale in salt water for 5 minutes drain while preparing sauce. crisp up turkey ham in 1 tablespoon of olive oil add garlic milk nutmeg salt and pepper. let reduce for 7-8 minutes over med high heat. add kale back in and mix well place in casserole dish mix remaining olive oil bread crumbs pepper and cheese together and spread evenly on top of kale. Bake until browned. 7-10 minutes
