Recipe Ingredients for Jumbo stuffed shells w/cheese

12 pieces Jumbo Shells
680 2/5 grams Part Skim Milk Ricotta Cheese
8 oz Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk Cheese
2 large Egg, Whole
0.25 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
3 tsp Sugars, Granulated
0.13 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
0.5 tsp Salt

Recipe Directions for Jumbo stuffed shells w/cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Cook 12-15 shells in boiling salted water for 12 to 15 minutes. Drain well and dry in a single layer on paper towels.

  3. While shells are cooking combine 1.5 lbs of Part skim ricotta and 8 oz of grated Mozzarella cheeses with salt, 2 large eggs slightly beaten, blend mixture well.

  4. Then add 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp parsley,nutmeg, and 0.25 cup of grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture. Blend well.

  5. Spread thin layer of tomato sauce to bottom of 1 inch deep baking dish. Fill the jumbo shells with 1 Tbsp of cheese mixture to each shell and place 1 deep in the baking dish. when all shells are filled spread the balance of the 3 cups of tomato sauce.

  6. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and any left over Mozzarella cheese and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes or until Hot and bubbly. Serve with bread and salad.
