A slightly spicy corn casserole. It is amazing!

Recipe Ingredients for Julie's Pastel de Elote

2 cups corn
8 oz melted butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
8 oz. Monterey jack cheese
4 oz. green chiles

Recipe Directions for Julie's Pastel de Elote

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Melt butter, set aside to cool.

  3. Butter or grease an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 inch square pan or dish.

  4. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

  5. Put ingredients into dish.

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or more, until it?s not very jiggly all over anymore .
