Hearty rice dish with shrimp, chicken and sausage

Recipe Ingredients for Julie's Jambalaya

1 lb shrimp
1/2 lb chicken breast
1/2 lb sausage
2 cups rice
6 tomatoes (or can of 14.5 ounce of diced tomatoes)
2 onions, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp canola oil
1 tsp paprika
1 red pepper, diced

Recipe Directions for Julie's Jambalaya

  1. Saute diced onions, diced vegetables in oil. Remove sausage from casing and add. Cut chicken cutlet into bite size pieces and add to mixture. Brown until meat is no longer pink.

  2. Add tomato, line juice, seasonings and rice plus 3 cups water. Bring to boil and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 20 minutes and add shrimp.

  3. Continue cooking until rice is done adding water if needed.
