Banana bread with chocolate chips. Cna use 1/2 cup chopped walnuts instead.

Recipe Ingredients for Julie T's banana bread

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Julie T's banana bread

  1. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar. Blend in banana, vanilla and eggs.

  2. Sift dry indredients. Add alternately with buttermilk.

  3. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
