2 lbs HAMBURGER
4 TOMATOES
2 cups CHICKEN BROTH
1 c RICE
2 GARLIC CLOVES
3 T MINT LEAVES
2 t PEPPER
2 t GROUND CLOVES
2 c WATER
1 T PEPPER, CHIPOTLE IN ADOBO SAUCE

Recipe Directions for JULIA'S ALBONDIGAS

MIX HAMBURGER, AND 2 T OF MINT LEAVES, ADD GARLIC, PEPPER AND 1 t GROUND CLOVES. ADD RAW RICE TO MEAT MIXTURE AND FORM MEATBALLS. PUREE TOMATOES IN BLENDER POUR IN LARGE POT. ADD BROTH, WATER,CHIPOTLE AND REMAINING GARLIC, CLOVES AND MINT LEAVES. BRING TO A ROLLING BOIL AND ADD MEATBALLS. SIMMER ABOUT 20 MINUTES UNTIL MEATBALLS ARE COOKED. ADD A JALAPENO PEPPER TO THE SAUCE FOR MORE FLAVOR IF DESIRED.
