1 cup Becel Light Margarine
8 oz unsweetened chocolate
7 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
3 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 cup almonds

Recipe Directions for Julia Child's Brownies Cockaigne with Almonds

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Melt butter and chocolate; let cool

  3. Combine until beaten the eggs and salt and then add sugar and vanilla.

  4. Combine the sugar mixture with the cooled chocolate mixture.
