1 pinch of dried mint

Recipe Directions for Julia Child's Braised Cucumbers

  1. Peel and see one large cucumber.

  2. Cut the cuke into 4 long slices and then chop

  3. Melt butter in a heavy sauce pan

  4. Add cucumbers, salt, and lemon juice

  5. Heat over medium heat until cucumbers are soft but not mushy

  6. Add mint

  7. Toss and remove from heat. Serve
