Recipe Ingredients for Jubilee bars

2 tbsp flaxseeds, ground
1/4 cup water
1 cup icing sugar
3 tbsp canola oil
3/4 cup wholewheat flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup chopped peanuts
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1 cup chopped dates
3/4 cup chocolate chips
120 grams cherries

Recipe Directions for Jubilee bars

  1. Preheat oven 325F or 160C

  2. Mix flaxseed with water, set aside until they become gummy

  3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside

  4. Combine dates, choc chips, nuts and cherries

  5. Beat flax mix with a whisk, then add in icing sugar and oil.

  6. Stir in dry ingreds. Fold in fruit and nuts.

  7. Grease a 9x13 pan. Press mix evenly into pan

  8. Bake for 30-35 mins.

  9. Cut into 24 pieces

  10. Dust with icing sugar
