Delicious Bran Muffins - Makes BIG batch. Batter keeps in refridgerator for 30 days. Heat fresh all month long!

Recipe Ingredients for Joy's Bran Muffins

2 cups Bran Buds All-Bran (Kellogg's)
4 cups All Bran original (kellogg's)
1 quart lowfat buttermilk
1 cup Shortening Sticks
3 cups sugar
4 large eggs
5 cups white flour
5 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Joy's Bran Muffins

  1. Add 2 c. Bran Buds to 2 cups of boiling water. Remove from heat, cover and let set while mixing other ingrediants.

  2. Hand mix the shortening, sugar, eggs, flour, soda and salt. Add Buttermilk and 4 c. All-Bran original. Mix in the Bran Buds and Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
