Recipe Ingredients for Joyce's Homemade Chili

15 oz chili beans
15 oz kidney beans
15 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz lean ground beef
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 sweet green pepper
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp chili powder

Recipe Directions for Joyce's Homemade Chili

  1. Brown meat and oniion in a sauce pan till onion is transparent

  2. Add beans, tomato, sugar and chili powder; simmer till flavors are well mixed

  3. During last 10 minutes, add green pepper and cook just until tender
