Recipe Ingredients for jon's goulash

1 pound 90% ground beef
30 oz tomato puree
4 oz tomato paste
8 oz sliced mushrooms
1/4 c diced fresh onion
1/2 c diced green pepper
2 cloves garlic
3/4 pound of elbow macaroni

Recipe Directions for jon's goulash

  1. cook ground beef then rinse in strainer with hot water for 1 min to remove left over fat from cooked meet and set aside.

  2. next in sauce pot add both cans of tomato puree, onions, green peppers, and garlic and simmer until starts to boil. then add tomato paste and italian seasoning to taste. turn down to low to simmer

  3. in seperate pot cook macaroni by directions on brand you choose till firm not over done cool completely (do not add untill 30 min to eating)

  4. add meat to sauce and stir in 30 min prior to eating add cooked pasta and simmer
