Recipe Ingredients for Jonathan's Lentil bean and barley soup

1 lb salt pork
1 lb barley, white beans, lentils (total weight)
15 oz chicken broth
1 tbs olive oil
10 oz mushrooms

Recipe Directions for Jonathan's Lentil bean and barley soup

  1. Slice salt pork into small pieces

  2. Saute into brown, drain grease

  3. Add beans, lentils, and barley (this is a mix from Henry's Market)

  4. Add chicken broth

  5. bring to a boil and let simmer

  6. Add water as needed

  7. Saute mushrooms in olive oil

  8. Add to the soup
