A very good recipe that is not too fussy for everyday or company use.

Recipe Ingredients for John's Waffles

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. lowfat buttermilk
1/3 c. olive oil
2 eggs

Recipe Directions for John's Waffles

  1. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.

  2. Combine milk, oil and eggs in seperate bowl and beat well.

  3. Add liquids to dry ingredients and stir to just blend.

  4. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before baking.
