Recipe Ingredients for Johnny Marzetti, Inn Maid noodles Recipe, 1950's

1 lb beef, ground 75%
1 medium onion, diced
1 cup green pepper, diced
1 cup diced celery, diced
8 oz. tomato sauce
8 oz. tomato, diced, canned, drained
2 tsp worcestershire
1 tbsp brown sugar, packed
8 oz. noodles, egg, dry

Recipe Directions for Johnny Marzetti, Inn Maid noodles Recipe, 1950's

in large skillet, combine meat, diced onion and diced celery. Cook until meat is brown and onions are translucent, stirring occasionally. Remove excess fat, add diced tomatos, water and tomato sauce. Add green peppers, worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Simmer 10 minutes. Cook egg noodles until tender, drain, add to cooked mixture. Makes 6 servings. salt and pepper to taste.
