I don't use binders like eggs & bread...this works fine, maintains the shape, flavor and texture and not nearly as dry as I've had elsewhere. Sometimes I put a couple dashes of Worcestershire in the ketchup. Our preferred sides...homemade mashed potatoes, peas and corn

Recipe Ingredients for Joelle's meatloaf

2 lb lean ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 1/2 c onion, chopped
1/2 c bell pepper, chopped
1/4 c ketchup

Recipe Directions for Joelle's meatloaf

Pre-heat oven to 375. Mix beef, pork, onion & green pepper. Form into loaf on baking sheet or place in loaf pan. Spread ketchup over top of loaf and bake for approximately 1 hour. Let rest for 15 minutes. Slice and serve.
