Recipe Ingredients for Jim's Beef Stew

28 c water
3 lbs chuck roast
2 tbs olive oil
1 onion
1 tsp minced garlic
3 stalks celery
3 lbs russet potatoes
17 oz diced tomatoes
2 cup corn
1 lb carrots
2 cup green beans

Recipe Directions for Jim's Beef Stew

  1. cut beef into 1" pieces. coat with flour.

  2. heat oil in skillet and brown beef.

  3. scrape beef and liquid from skillet into stock pot, add 28c water.

  4. heat water and beef to boiling.

  5. add veggies.

  6. boil until tender 30-045 min

  7. reduce heat and simmer an hour or so.
