Recipe Ingredients for Jill's Tomato Basil Quiche

1 cup egg substitute
8 ounces half and half milk
4 ounces reduced fat swiss cheese, shredded
4 ounces reduced fat Mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 cup fat free mayonaise
2 roma tomatoes, sliced thinly
5 grams (10 )basil leaves
1 unbaked pie crust

Recipe Directions for Jill's Tomato Basil Quiche

  1. Preheat oven 400 degrees.

  2. Bake empty pie shell for 7 minutes.

  3. Remove pie shell and reduce oven temperture to 350 degrees.

  4. Mix together the half n' half, eggs, mayonaise.

  5. Add cheese to mixture.

  6. Pour mixture into pie shell.

  7. Layer tomato slices, then basil on top of mixture.

  8. Bake @ 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes till a knife inserted comes out clean.

  9. Cool for 10 min. before cutting servings.
