A great healthy meal but the cals are a little off Small potatoes are only 110 cals so that would be 660+105+3248+20=4033 divide by 10 servings 403.3 cal Ok this needs to be cooked all day for the tenderest meat. I start at 8 am with a frozen roast. This will take less time if its frozen. Also I tend to take things by sight, I've been cooking for a while now and I'm comfortable with portion sizes. However you may measure it out or use the higher calories listed in the nutrition information. Also not that The servings may seem high, how can you get 10 servings out of 6 potatoes? Watch the bowl as you are filling it, you'll be lucky to get half a potatoes in the mix. Chefs secret Cut it into larger cubes, it tricks the eye into seeing more! Enjoy with a crusty bread, you can afford it with these cals!

4 lbs rump roast
30 baby carrots, whole
6 potatoes, chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees or so. In a large oven safe dish add your roast, enough water to cover half the roast and half of the seasoning packet. Now let the oven take the work!

  3. You are going to want to keep an eye on this until you get it down pat. SO every hour do a quick softness check on your veggies.When potatoes and carrots are tender get out your bread or sides and dish up a delicious meal!
