My veggie recipe using chia seeds as a binder!

Recipe Ingredients for Jen's Veggie Burger

3 cups Black Beans Drained and Rinsed
1 cup oats
3 tbl Chia Seed
3 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
1 red pepper
1/4 cup corn
2 tbl chili powder

Recipe Directions for Jen's Veggie Burger

  1. Smash beans, puree garlic, onion & pepper, mix in oats, corn and desired spices. Place 2 tbl chia seeds in 6 tbl water, let sit 10 minutes, mix into "burger mixture", then mix in remaining 1 tbl chia seeds into "burger mixture", let sit 10 minutes then form patties on parchment paper and freeze for an 1-2 hours, wrap & freeze.

  2. Cook on the BBQ from frozen :)
