Recipe Ingredients for Jen's Pasta

1 lb italian sausage
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp garlic
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
1/3 tsp cayenne pepper
43 oz tomatoes
2 cups heavy cream
16 oz mushrooms
16 oz penne pasta

Recipe Directions for Jen's Pasta

  1. Cut sausage in chunks. Brown in 1 tbsp olive oil. Remove from pan.

  2. Add more oil if necessary and sauté mushrooms until soft. Remove from pan.

  3. Add all spices. Sauté 30 seconds.

  4. Add tomatoes and cream; boil 5 minutes.

  5. Add musrooms, sausage, and cooked pasta.

  6. Heat through, and enjoy!
