Makes 40 servings



This can be altered many times. I"ve tried different types of nuts, spices, and flavorings. Serving size is 1/4 cup. Excellent over yogurt.

Recipe Ingredients for Jennifer's Granola

1/2 cup splenda, brown sugar
2 T molasses
1/2 cup water
1 t vanilla
1 t salt
7 1/2 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
1/2 cup wheat germ
2 t cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Jennifer's Granola

  1. Bring to a boil and then take off the heat the following: splenda, molasses, water, and salt.

  2. Add flavoring next.

  3. In separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients.

  4. Pour liquid over dry mix. Mix thoroughly.

  5. LIne two baking sheets with parchment paper. Spread oats over both sheets evenly.

  6. Bake at 275 for approximately 2 hours; Stir every 30 minutes. Make sure granola is golden and dry. Let cool and put into airtight containers.
