Recipe Ingredients for Jello Cake

1 package white cake mix
3/4 cup egg beaters
1/3 cup apple sauce
1 package gelatin sugar free dessert mix
8 oz. Cool Whip free

Recipe Directions for Jello Cake

  1. Combine cake mix, egg beaters, and applesauce and bake according to package directions.

  2. While cake is cooling in its pan, poke holes all over with large fork or bamboo skewer. Mix jello according to package directions. Drizzle jello liquid over cake. Make sure jello penetrates all holes.

  3. Chill several hours or overnight. Frost chilled cake with whipped topping, garnish with appropriate fruit if desired.

  4. NOTE: Delicious with almost any flavor Jello. I particularly like raspberry and orange.
