Recipe Ingredients for Jell-o shooters full of Smirnoff

1 package gelatin
2 cups orange juice
12 oz vodka
4 oz water

Recipe Directions for Jell-o shooters full of Smirnoff

  1. Put the vodka in the freezer, leave until, well, it wont freeze but you get the idea.

  2. In a large saucepan boil water and 1 1/2 cups of orange juice. Remove from heat and immediately stir in jelly powder (I actually use 2 boxes of sugar free flavoured jell-o but couldn't add it to this recipe for some reason) Continue stirring until gelatin completely dissolved. Let stand several minutes until mixture is no longer steaming (wouldn't want the alcohol to boil off in the next step)

  3. Add 'frozen' vodka and remaining orange juice. Stir.

  4. Transfer liquid to measuring cup or jug and fill shot glasses. chill until set.

  5. Jell-o shooters will keep several days in the fridge (as if!) but should be kept in a sealed container as they will absorb other food odours. This recipe makes 32 oz of shots but I usually end up with a few extra depending on size of glass used.
