Hearty venison version of a classic American dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Jeff's Venison Meatloaf

2 1/2 pounds ground venison
8 eggs
15 oz bread crumbs
2 cups ketchup
1 t. minced onion
1 t. onion salt
1 t. black pepper

Recipe Directions for Jeff's Venison Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Reserving 1 cup of the ketchup, place remaining ingredients in a large bowl.

  3. Mix until thoroughly blended.

  4. Spread mixture into loaf pan.

  5. Spread remaining ketchup on the loaf.

  6. Put in oven and bake for 90 minutes or until done.
