A hearty and heart-healthy soup. The beans in this soup make it super filling without being heavy on calories. Serve with a salad for a great light meal!

Recipe Ingredients for Jeb's Pasta Fagioli

227 grams egg noodles
28 oz. tomato sauce
48 oz. great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1/4 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp italian seasoning
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Jeb's Pasta Fagioli

  1. Drain and rinse beans, add beans to tomato sauce in a large pot.

  2. Season sauce with oregano, italian seasoning, salt, pepper and garlic.

  3. Add one tomato sauce can worth of water to the pot.

  4. In a separate pot, cook and strain noodles.

  5. While noodles cook, keep sauce mixture at a low boil for 20 minutes. Add cooked noodles and serve.
