This is the sauce I use on my Grilled Buffalo Chicken. I like using Crystal Hot Sauce for the 1st line ingredient, but other than that everything is the same. This recipe will coat up to 6 chicken breasts, but I like using it with 3 or 4 breasts and really being able to spread it thick as I grill. For best results, marinate the chicken for half a day or so (or even overnight!) with half the sauce, then use the other half or so to baste on the chicken as it grills.

Recipe Ingredients for Jared's Infamous Buffalo Chicken Sauce

1/2 cup Sauce, Louisiana Hot
3/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
6 tbsp Molly McButter Flavor Sprinkles
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Sugar

Recipe Directions for Jared's Infamous Buffalo Chicken Sauce

  1. Pour Crystal hot sauce into small pan. Turn burner to low-medium heat.

  2. Combine all ingredients into pan with hot sauce.

  3. Heat sauce until it is warm enough to steam slightly, then reduce heat to simmer.

  4. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Any clumps that started when ingredients were combined should break up during this time.

  5. Remove from heat.

  6. Pour half the sauce into a large ziplock bag that will hold all of the chicken.

  7. Pour the rest into a small container or cup and refrigerate until time to grill.
