Recipe Ingredients for Japanese Chicken Rice bowl

1 1/2 cup dry Brown Rice
1 cup Natural Goodness Chicken Broth
4 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 fl oz Wine, Table, White or Mirin
2 large Egg, White
8 oz Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
6 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions

Recipe Directions for Japanese Chicken Rice bowl

  1. Prepare brown rice as per package instructions without salt

  2. Pour broth into saucepan along with sugar, soy sauce, and wine. Bring to boil, then reduce heat.

  3. Add chicken to broth. Whisk eggs, and add gently to broth. top with scallions.

  4. When egg starts to firm up, stir it with chopsticks or a knife. (The chicken should be cooked by now).

  5. Serve in 4 deep bowls.
